Grace used a nickname on her profile, so even after their first date, Nick was still left guessing her real name. Talk about a mysterious start to their story!
The Perfect Proposal at Funnel Bay Beach
Their engagement story is one for the books. During a much-needed getaway to the stunning Whitsunday Islands, predominantly the Airlie Beach area, Nick planned the ultimate surprise. With a little help from a photographer (who cleverly posed as Grace’s friend taking pictures of their dog), the scene was set at Funnel Bay Beach.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, painting the sky in shades of pink and orange, Nick casually asked the photographer to snap a couple of pictures of them. After a few shots, he dropped to one knee and pulled out the ring. Grace’s shock quickly turned into joy, and the magical moment was beautifully captured for them to cherish forever.
