Some love stories start with a grand plan, but Hannah and Lukasz's journey began with a night of pure spontaneity. It all started at Hannah's high school friend Rachael’s birthday party at Merriwell at Crown. Lukas wasn’t even on the guest list—he was just there as a wingman for his buddy Jakub. But as fate would have it, that random night turned into something way more special.
Hannah only knew the birthday girl, so when she met Lukasz and Jakub, they clicked right away. The three of them left Crown together and went on an impromptu bar crawl down Toorak Road. What was supposed to be a simple night out turned into an unforgettable adventure full of laughs, new friendships, and the start of something beautiful. A few days later, Hannah and Lukasz took on the Dandenong Thousand Steps together as friends. But by the time they reached the top, Lukas asked the question that would change everything: “Do you wanna date?”
Fast forward to their wedding day at Ballara Receptions, and you could just feel the love and excitement in the air. The venue was absolutely stunning, setting the perfect scene for a day that was equal parts heartfelt and fun.
Their ceremony was a beautiful mix of traditions, especially with Hannah’s Filipino background adding a special touch. From the exchange of arras (coins) to the traditional veil and cord ceremony, every detail was full of meaning and love.
As the party moved into the reception, it was time for Lukasz’s Polish heritage to shine. The room was buzzing with energy as everyone enjoyed the unique mix of cultures. The blend of Filipino and Polish traditions made the day feel even more special and personal, reflecting the love and respect Hannah and Lukasz have for their roots.
But the moment Hannah and Lukasz were most excited about? Their wedding dance! After weeks of dance lessons, they were ready to show off their moves, and they absolutely nailed it. They glided across the dance floor like pros, and you could see how much fun they were having.
Just when everyone thought the dance was over, Hannah’s brother marched in with a saxophone, leading the bridal party onto the dance floor. It was such a fun and unexpected twist that got everyone up and dancing. The room was filled with laughter, music, and a whole lot of joy as the night kicked into high gear.
