Having tied the knot in Melbourne, Mira and Ben decided to honour Mira's connection to Yogyakarta by hosting a second wedding filled with traditional Indonesian ceremonies. Mira, who had undertaken an exchange study program in Yogyakarta, felt a deep connection to the rich cultural tapestry of this city, making it the perfect backdrop for their second celebration.
The Yogyakarta wedding was a beautiful blend of love, tradition, and enchanting Indonesian culture. The air was filled with the vibrant colours of traditional attire, the sounds of gamelan music, and the aroma of delicious Indonesian cuisine that adorned the celebration.
